What are the Web Classifieds?

At the end of most weeks, we publish our Classifieds Section online here at thecommunitypress.com, as well as typed versions of display ads that ran in our paper during that same week (not including lengthy public notices, thank yous, or real estate ads due to space constraints). We offer this service free of charge as a token of our appreciation for your business, and to help your ad go that extra mile. Another reason it PAYS to ADVERTISE in The Community Press! Flagstaff County & Area’s #1 Medium since 1908!

CARD OF THANKS

Our family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who sent thoughts and prayers, visits, cards, flowers, donations, and food to our homes in our loss of Denny – husband, father, and grandfather.
Sincere thank yous to Rev. Stephen Haughland for officiating at the service – you captured Denny’s life very well. To the UCW and CWL for providing the lunch during the fellowship. To Darrell Holmstrom and Sharon Weslosky for the music – Denny always enjoyed listening to your family’s musical abilities. To Les and Joe from Fee & Sons for your help and guidance during this difficult time.
Special thank you to all who attended the funeral to honour Denny’s life – he loved people and was very proud to call Killam home.
In lieu of thank you cards, a memorial donation will be made to the Killam and District Health Care Foundation.

THANK YOU THANK YOU! For all the wonderful words of congratulations I have received for the Hardisty Hospital Auxiliary award for being a member for 45 years.
Thank you to the Auxiliary for the lovely dinner for my family and I, congratulation cake, beautiful bouquet of roses, and a lovely tree planted in the hospital grounds with my name on it! It was all so very special! I have enjoyed my years as an Auxilian and hopefully can continue to do so for some more time.
Thank you to Bobbi for her kind words and for being with us! It was a fabulous day and so appreciated!

MEMORIAL

In Loving Memory of
Vivian Peterson
October 24, 1920 –
July 27, 1992

Gentle breezes blow
across the prairies,
Memories of you dance
in the wind.
25 years have passed,
But you are with us – always.

Loved and Missed,
Nancy and Gary Lindseth and Family

———————

Brian Fossum
March 2, 1959 –
August 7, 1999

I thought of you today,
But that is nothing new.
I thought about
you yesterday,
And days before
that, too.
I think of you in silence,
I often speak your name.
All I have are memories
And your picture
in a frame.
Your memory is
a keepsake,
From which I’ll
never part.
God has you in his arms,
I have you in my heart.

Lovingly Remembered by Your Family.

———————

In Loving Memory of
Donald Rombough
January 9, 1947 –
August 1, 2016

One year ago today, I didn’t know it would be our last. My life was shattered when you were taken. You were gone before we knew it. No farewell words or time to say goodbye. What it meant to lose you no one will ever know. My heart still aches in sadness, and tears still flow because of a song, a word, or a thought! You are always on my mind every single night and day. I loved you then and I love you now and forever. You would be so proud of your sons who are taking such great care of me and getting me through life without you. In a world where heroes come and go, God took the one I know! Thank you for the 48 wonderful years we did have. Love you!

Forever Loved and Sadly Missed,
Sheryl

———————

In Loving Memory of
Sven Andersen
December 17, 1936 –
August 4, 2011

There will always
be a heartache,
And often a secret tear.
But always
precious memories,
Of days when
you were here.
We hold you close
within our hearts,
And there, you
will remain.
To walk with us throughout our lives,
Until we meet again.

Forever Loved and Sadly Missed by
Marlene and Family.

———————

In Loving Memory of
Ron Bendfeld
June 1, 1941 –
August 5, 2016

He never looked for praises
He was never one to boast.
He just went on
quietly working,
For the ones he loved
the most.
His dreams were
seldom spoken,
His wants were very few.
And most of the time
his worries,
Went unspoken too.
He was there…
A firm foundation,
Through all our
storms of life.
A sturdy hand to hold on to
In times of stress and strife.
A true friend we could
turn to,
When times were good
or bad.
One of our greatest
blessings,
The man that we
called Dad.
Forever Loved,
Bonnie, Rhonda, and Murray,
Tracy, Brad, and Christie
and Grandchildren
