Killam RCMP arrest man for Indecent Acts

For Immediate Release by Killam RCMP – On July 2, Killam RCMP responded to a report a man who was found to have committed what is believed to be indecent acts which occurred over several days from June 30 – July 3 near Killam Public School.

No children or persons were believed to be present in the school or outside in the school grounds when the alleged acts took place.

Following the investigation, police were able to identify, and arrest the alleged male suspect on July 7, 2017.

Evan Jepsen **, a 31-year-old from Stettler, was charged under the Criminal Code for committing indecent acts (X4).

Jepsen was released with a cash recognizance and strict conditions. He will appear in Killam Provincial Court on Aug. 1.

In the RCMP Report which appeared in the July 11, 2017 edition of The Community Press, Killam RCMP: “received complaints of a nude male committing indecent acts near the Killam School. These occurred between early morning and mid-day.  The male is described as being six foot tall or over, slender build, with very light blond hair, and wearing sunglasses.”

As this matter is now before the courts no further information will be available.
