The Strome Community Curling Club would like to thank those who donated to our Mother’s Day Breakfast. Again, it was another successful year. We fed about 355 people. The individual must have excellent communication in English (oral and written) and must be able to adapt to change and willing to learn new tasks on a regular basis.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
– Greeting patients and complete registration upon arrival, booking,
confirming & re-scheduling appointments as necessary
– Assign patient to exam rooms
– Weighing Patients and taking their blood pressure
– Prepare exam rooms and cleaning as necessary
– Arrange patient investigations including laboratory requisitions,
labeling specimens and filling out proper requisitions,
– Review and process all incoming communications related to
referrals and consultations in a timely fashion
– Filing of all patient investigations and communications
– Answer and manage phone calls including booking appointments
and calls from other health care professionals
– Ability to prioritize and demonstrate accuracy and attention
– Other duties as required
Qualifications:
▪ Ability to set priorities, self motivated, able to work under pressure and deal with people in a stressful situation.
▪ Courteous in receiving and assisting Patients
▪ Work Experience in health care, front desk receptionist
▪ Proficiency using Microsoft office products
▪ Medical Assistant Certificate.
