RCMP investigate armed robbery at Amisk ATB – sawed off shotgun and two hatchets
On May 26th at approximately 2:20 pm Killam RCMP were advised of an armed robbery that had just occurred at the Alberta Treasury Branch in the Hamlet of Amisk. An unknown male and two females entered the bank brandishing a sawed off shotgun and two hatchets.
Approximately one hour after the robbery, the stolen vehicle was located abandoned. It is believed the suspects may now be travelling in a grey Chevrolet pickup truck with a yellow and black dirt bike stored in the box.
All suspects are said to be between 19 and 25 years old and are described as follows:
Suspect #1:
Caucasian male
5’10”
Dark hair with the sides shaved.
Tattoos around his head.
Wearing a dark hoodie.
Was in possession of a hatchet.
Aboriginal female
5’6″
Long dark hair held in a pony tail.
Wearing denim shorts, tank top and hiking boots.
Was in possession of a hatchet.
Suspect #3:
Aboriginal female
Shorter height with a medium build
Broad face, big eyes.
Short red tinged hair.
Wearing a red hoodie and dark cargo pants.
Was in possession of a sawed-off shotgun.
