RCMP again asking public for help in identifying Sedgewick armed robbery suspect
On Monday, Dec. 7 at approximately 3:15 p.m. Killam-Forestburg RCMP detachment responded to a robbery at the Sedgewick Gas Station “Go Mart.”
The suspect was described to be a lone male, wearing all black with a multi-coloured mask covering his face.
The suspect appeared to be in his 30’s. The suspect had a slim build, and appeared to be about six feet tall.
During the robbery, the suspect pointed a pistol at the employee. It is believed that the suspect left the scene in a newer-model black pick-up truck.
The suspect’s last known direction of travel was southbound on Highway 869. The suspect left the scene with approximately $2,500.
Killam-Forestburg RCMP have been actively investigating the armed robbery.
RCMP are again asking members of the public to provide any information they may have regarding the robbery to further the investigation.
