It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our loving Dad and Grandpa Gordon McPherson. Gordon passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the age of 89. He is survived by his children Niki (David), Bill (Marguerite), Jen (Ken), five grandchildren and five great grand girls. Celebration of life will be April 30, 2016 in the Community Hall in Alliance.

Looking for some Fun in January?
Come to the quilt retreat at the Lougheed Hall on January 11, 12, 13, 14, 2016. UFO’s and beginner quilting being taught. Throughout the days there will be sessions in the importance of proper pressing, cutting, binding, applique, squaring quilts, borders, 1/4” foot and sandwiching quilts. NO cooking NO dishes. All will be done for you. In case of a blizzard, we will quilt the following week. $200 cheque will hold your place and will not be deposited until January 1, 2016.
