Lougheed Field House celebrates grand opening

More than 100 people came out to celebrate the grand opening of the Lougheed Field House on Wednesday, March 18.

A special cake marked the occasion, and the ribbon cutting was accomplished by an enthusiastic band of children, who paused in their enjoyment of the new monster truck bouncy house, basketball, plasma cars, lacrosse, and baseball to break the ribbon on the revamped facility.

A number of activities, from dog obedience to play groups, are scheduled to take place in the facility, and the new gym is also doing very well.
