Roy Vernon Sorenson

Roy Vernon Sorenson, 92, passed away October 25, 2014 in Victoria, BC.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy Sorenson, his son Rob and daughter-in-law Treena, and his grandchildren Joshua, Haley, Jaden, and Rachel.

Roy will be missed by his brother Ralph, sister-in-law Jean, his sisters Ruth Peterson, Amy Tracey, and many friends.

Roy was always involved in his church, and was a successful contractor for over 30 years.

Roy was born in Killam and spent the first 30 years or more of his life in this area. As a young man he enjoyed hunting, baseball, and hockey. Roy was a true gentleman, devoted husband, father, and grandpa. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, share a funny story, and partake in laughter. He will be missed.

A memorial service was held in Victoria on November 3, 2014
