The Spring Lake Masters competed in the Canadian National Oldtimers Baseball Federation’s annual tournament from Aug. 1 to 4 this summer.

The tournament changes locations each year, and is open to teams across Canada consisting of players 35 years of age and over.

This year, the tournament was held in Brampton, Ontario.

The teams that participate in this annual tournament no longer play competitive senior baseball, but join in instead for the sheer love of the game.

The Masters played in the 50+ division, beginning the four-day tournament with a game against Braumeister, who they tied 0-0.

The following morning, they beat the Scarborough Maroons 7-6.
