Sedgewick Minor Hockey Day full of action
The Sharks Minor Hockey Association held Hockey day in Sedgewick on Saturday, Jan. 25.
Teams participating in the day were the Initiation Sharks, Killam Warriors Initiation, Novice Sharks Team 1 and 2, Atom Sharks, Hughenden Atom Jets, PeeWee Sharks, Bentley Bruins PeeWee, Battle River Bantam Heat Girls, and the Tofield Titans Bantam Girls.
The Sedgewick arena was a busy place with games starting at 10 a.m. and the last game at 6:30 p.m.
Results for the last two games were Peewee Sharks 9 vs Bentley Bruins 1, and Female Bantam Heat 3 vs Tofield Female Midget 0.
All minor hockey players were given a Sharks cowbell after their games as a memento of hockey day, and the sounds of bells rang thoughout all the games!
