Forestburg opens Concert Series with World-Class Entertainers, Pear
Pear, who are Lynae and Denis Dufresne accompanied by Craig Bignell, opened the 25th season of the Forestburg Concert Series on Saturday, Nov. 23 at the Forestburg Community Hall.
Pear was named 2013 Group of the Year by the Association of Country Music in Alberta.
They won the 2012 International Song writing Competition for country with, “This Ain’t A Love Song,” often aired on Canadian radio stations.
A little over a week ago, Canadian Country star, Johnny Reid asked Pear to join his Christmas tour across Canada.
Denis grew up in Medicine Hat while Lynae grew up in Sandpoint, Idaho.
