The Killam Wheat Kings had a good weekend taking the home-and-home series against the Onion Lake Border Chiefs.

Coach Tuftin said of the weekend performance, “In both games, we were able to score early and establish a lead which we haven’t been able to do all year.”

The Chiefs came to Killam onKWK-Oct29 Friday, Oct. 25. Shots on goal were in favour of the Wheaties 40-20. The Chiefs had the upper hand with the extra attacker scoring all three of their goals on the power-play. Killam went 1-11 with the extra man.
