Sedgewick into their second century of Sports Day fun
The town of Sedgewick held their 103rd annual Sports Day and Canada Day celebration on Monday, July 1 in Sedgewick.
The day full of activities started off with a pancake breakfast at the Community Hall followed by a parade down Main Street. This year, the youth entries were way up from previous years which is nice to see.
Many came to town to catch flying candy and check out the floats, and as in most parade the youngsters enjoyed the fire trucks with lights and sirens!
Many ball tournaments and games were ocurring on all the diamonds from the little players right up to the men’s teams.
We had more photos than we had room for, here are some of the extras as well as those that appear in this week’s paper.
