Daysland’s Canada Day all about the kids!
Many bottles of water and sunscreen were used to combat the heat during Daysland’s Canada Day celebration on Monday, July 1.
The hot weather, though, did attract a large crowd to the various events held throughout the day.
The day of celebration kicked off with a pancake breakfast put on by the Daysland Fire Department, where many residents came to enjoy a delicious breakfast. Members of the department also gave kids rides around town in the Fire Engine where they got to turn on the siren and honk the horn.
