Hardisty Junior High Students past and present show off art works

The Hardisty Junior High held an art show in the school gymnasium on Thursday, June 13.

This is the fourth time that the artists displayed their works. This all began in 2004.

The junior high artists work with acrylics, water colour, collage, mixed media, pastels, chalk pastels, lino cuts, mirror art, pencil, pen and ink, foam printing, pulled-string design, spatter throw art, and rubbings to create some very unusual drawings.

There are 45 students in the Hardisty Junior High and the show included works from student alumni as well, so the paintings and drawings filled the gymnasium plus the hallways surrounding the gym.
