Caribou Publishing EXTRA Feature – Tri-County Job Fair has over 400 visitors
With close to 40 different career exhibitors in attendance, the Tri-County Career Fair held in the Killam Agriplex on May 7 received praise from everyone involved.
Students in Grades 9 to 12 from various schools in the Flagstaff, Beaver, and Paintearth counties, as well as anyone else interested, were invited to take part in the career fair put on by the Battle River Training Hub (BRTH) partnering with each county.
According to organizers, there were 328 students, along with 20 teachers or chaperones attending the career fair.
Although the committee said they expected more students from both the Beaver and Paintearth counties to attend, they anticipate that more will be interested next year once they hear of this year’s success.
