Daysland Northstars claim silver at Provincials in Innisfail

The Daysland North-stars of the Battle River Hockey League traveled to Innisfail for the senior AA/A provincial tournament hosted by the Innisfail Eagles.

As the defending Provincial champions, the Daysland Northstars were one of the favourites to make the finals.

Game one took place on the morning of Friday, Apr. 5, and had Daysland facing off against the Edson Ice.

The Northstars advanced with a 5-2 win over the Ice. They advanced to the semi-finals on Saturday, Apr. 6 and went up against the tough Rangers squad from Spirit River.
