North Stars win unbelievable 19th BRHL championship with 8-3 victory over Tofield on Friday

Daysland North Stars continued its rampage through the Battle River Hockey League, winning its 3rd title in a row and 19th all time on Friday at Millennium Place over Tofield Satellites 8-3 for a 4-2 series win.

The 8-3 victory in game 6 was played at Millennium Place in Sherwood Park, due to Tofield Arena preparations for the Bull Bash, drew a good crowd to witness the North Stars unbelievable 19th Battle River Hockey League championship, Friday.

Down after the first two games of the series, Daysland came back convincingly winning the next four to claim the title.

Both teams may run into each other again next weekend as each qualified for Senior AA Provincials in Innisfail.
