Friends of the Battle River Rail have great plans for passenger car

The Friends of the Battle River Rail Society is coming close to the day they’ve been dreaming of for a couple of years now.

At the end of April, they expect to take delivery of their new passenger car.

This group, formed with volunteer representatives from each of the six communities along the BRR line, has a vision, to use the car to increase tourism for the villages along the BRR short line, as well as to take advantage of the opportunity presented to create a business based on the shortline, to the mutual benefit of both the rail co-operative, and the society.
