Sedgewick’s 8th Annual Cutter Rally draws 32 sleighs and horses
There was plenty of snow on the ground, great news for the Sedgewick Ag. Society as they held their eighth annual Cutter Parade on Saturday, Feb. 26.
Getting the Sedgewick Sports Grounds ready for the parade was a little challenging as snow continued to fall all last week.
“We had all of the snow plowed out then got that nasty wind and more snow, so John Lougheed and I came back yesterday and plowed it all out again! Only this time it was much worse because the snow was packed so hard,” said Ken Schaupmeyer.
The sleighs and riders came in by the dozens because it was a beautiful day, and Sedgewick has treated them so well in other years.
