Forestburg Concert Series starts with Kat Danser performance
The Forestburg Concert Series opened the 2013 season with an entertaining performance from Kat Danser, an Edmonton-based guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist who has been dubbed ‘The Queen of the Swamp Blues.’
“It is lovely to see people out on this snowy night in Forestburg,” said Danser.
She then started her concert with ‘My Baby’ followed by ‘Vultures Circling.’
She also sang ‘I’m so Lonesome I Could Cry,’ and Patsy Cline’s ‘Crazy,’ which she said was written by Willie Nelson 51 years ago in November.
Kat Danser is a national touring and award-winning artist. Her voice has been described as robust, and full of smoke and fire.
