Killam renames avenue to honour late founder of Spartan Volleyball Club

Starting Tuesday, May 22 and for the next two weeks, 49 Ave. in Killam has been renamed “Bob Gabruck Way,” in honour of the Spartan Volleyball Club’s 25 year anniversary, and Gabruck’s commitment to the club.

Council approved the action at their April council meeting, says Town CAO Kim Borgel.

“The motion was approved prior to Bob’s passing with the hopes of honouring his committment.
