RCMP detachment in Killam expecting two new officers

Sgt. Greg Gerbrandt, NCO of the Killam/ Forestburg RCMP detachment made an announcement earlier this week that the detachment will be welcoming two new members over the next few months.

Constables Andrew Gillan and Richard Holdenried will be moving from B.C. to work at the Killam detachment. 

Gerbrandt expects Cst. Holdenried to be here starting in June, but says Cst. Gillan will move after he sells his current home.

If you see new faces at the detachment or around, be sure to welcome them to the area.

RCMP responded to 14 abandoned 911 calls and 14 false alarms, both commercial and residential in the month of April.
