New Family Day initiative asks communities to get competitive

    On the 22nd Family Day for Alberta families, an initiative now in its second year asks you to unplug from your electronic devices and spend some quality time with yourself, your family, or your community.

    One local group, the Flagstaff Beaver Early Childhood Development Coalition has taken that one step further and issued a challenge to all Flagstaff and Beaver residents to log the time they spent unplugged on the group’s Facebook page, including information about what they did and even welcoming them to send pictures.
