Killam Fire Department has new compressor

The Killam Fire Department has now taken receipt of their new compressor, and has installed it with their existing bottle filling equipment.
The compressor brings outside air into large bottles, which are then used to refill the firemen’s portable air tanks.
The old compressor broke down late spring/early summer, and Killam Fire Department had to rely upon a private contractor, Elite Safety Services of Sedgewick, to come out and top off their large storage canisters, says Fire Chief Joe Knievel.
