Bisons edge out Wheat Kings in overtime

The Wheat Kings played the Wainwright Bisons at home on Friday, losing during the second overtime period by a score of 4-3.
With four players not dressed for the game, the Wheat Kings had to make some line shuffles for the game.
The Wheat Kings took the lead in the first period with a power play goal scored by Mike Mctavish with assists from Wyatt Fraser and Cody Antos.
Both teams were a little sluggish in the first, but play picked up a little in the second period as the Bison’s scored right away to tie it up.
