Sedgewick Sabres split games on weekend

Last Friday, the Sedgewick Sabres travelled to Provost where they played the Blades.

The Sabres were first on the scoreboard with a goal from Ben Starbuck, then three minutes later one from Brent Ottmann.

The Blades Terran Strang scored at the six-minute mark, and then with seconds on the clock in the first Justyn Schollar from Provost tied the score at two apiece after one period of play.

Provost Player Bobby Davey scored to pull ahead, but the Sabres Travis Mitchell tied it up at 3 each with fewer than two minutes left in the period.

The Blades Shaun Rose scored early in the third to go up by one.
