About Sedgewick:

Sedgewick is a town in central Alberta, Canada. It is located 83 km (52 mi) east of Camrose at the junction of Highway 13 and Highway 869. The Canadian Pacific Railway runs through the town. The current population of Sedgewick is 811 according to the 2016 census. It was incorporated March 6, 1907. Sedgewick became a town on May 1, 1966. Perry Robinson is the current Mayor.

The Community Press was founded in Sedgewick, originally known as the Sedgewick Sentinel. The Community Press owns a building located at 4921 – 47 St., which houses company files and archives and is available via appointment only.
