It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bob Clark. After a courageous battle against cancer, Bob peacefully took his last breath with his family by his side.

After growing up in Killam, Bob chose to stay and raise his family in the community he loved. He took great pride and enjoyed being an active member of his community. He was a business owner, very active in fundraising and volunteering with the Legion and Lions club, always a fan or coach at all his kid’s activities, and a constant presence on the golf course.

The greatest pleasure in Bob’s life was spending time laughing and visiting with his wife, kids, grandkids, and all his friends and family.

Bob is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 40 years, Geri, and their four children – Brent (Darla) Clark, Jacqueline (Duane) Zanidean, Cindy (Steven) Ofrim and Shelby Clark; the greatest joys of his life, his 3 grandchildren Kylie Clark, Robbie Clark and Fischer Ofrim; his siblings Larry (Evelyn) Clark, Linda (Dave) Cole, Carole Bergum, Judy (Jan) Pedersen, Elaine (Max) Ainsworth, Jim (Adele) Clark, Meloddie (Brian) Bowles, Lorraine (Jim) Fink; his in-laws Tony and Bessie Schnettler, Deb (Grant) Johnston, Val (Terry) Quattek; his numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many cherished friends.

Bob was predeceased by his nephew Chad Clark, brothers-in-law Doug Schnettler, Dale Schnettler, Delmore Bergum, and his parents William and Kathleen Clark.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at the Killam Community Centre on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Killam and District Health Care Foundation, the Killam Cemetery or the Killam Agriplex.
