What are the Web Classifieds?

At the end of most weeks, we publish our Classifieds Section online here at thecommunitypress.com, as well as typed versions of display ads that ran in our paper during that same week (not including lengthy public notices, thank yous, or real estate ads due to space constraints). We offer this service free of charge as a token of our appreciation for your business, and to help your ad go that extra mile. Another reason it PAYS to ADVERTISE in The Community Press! Flagstaff County & Area’s #1 Medium since 1908!

The Killam and District Chamber of Commerce Rodeo Parade and Black Top Bonanza on Saturday, June 17 is shaping up to be Bigger and Better than ever!
The Parade theme this year (because everyone always asks “What is the Theme?”) is Celebrating Canada’s 150th (kind of a No-Brainer). Line Up Starts at 10:15 down by Fee & Sons Funeral Home with a Start Time of 11.
After the Parade, the Main Street Activities Kick Up at Noon. There will be Food Vendors with many Choices for your Culinary Palate as well as the Lions Beer Gardens to wash it down.
This year we have added some more “Teen Age” Inflatables including Sumo Suits and a Boxing Ring (don’t worry, the Favourites from the Last Couple of Years are Back as well.)
The Show N’ Shine is also Returning and it just keeps getting Bigger and Better Each Year.
We also have Two Entertainment Stages (One at the North End of Main Street and one Closer to the Community Hall) Showcasing Local Talent.
Something New This Year is the 3 on 3 Blacktop Ball Hockey Tournament (to register go to their Facebook Page)
Oh, and for those who like a Trade Fair, we have one of those taking place in the Community Hall, too!
