Suspects arrested – Killam RCMP investigate pointing of firearm after break and enter- Update


On Feb. 15, 2017 at approximately 1:30 p.m., Killam RCMP responded to a firearms call at a residence near Alliance, Alberta.




A resident pulled into their home and found a white SUV occupied by a man and a woman parked in the driveway.

The victim attempted to block the driveway with their vehicle when the man jumped out of the SUV and pointed what was believed to be a shotgun at the victim.

The suspects then fled in the SUV. No one was injured. Further investigation revealed the home was broken into but nothing was taken.

On Feb. 17, 2017 two suspects were arrested in relation to this incident.

Neil Scott Naslund, a 24-year-old from Camrose, Alberta was arrested without incident and charged with:

Pointing a firearm
Uttering Threats X2
Mischief
Suspended Driving




Nicole Corrina Quirk, a 30-year-old from Camrose, Alberta was arrested without incident and charged with:

Pointing a firearm
Uttering Threats X2
Possession of break in instruments
Mischief

A bail hearing was conducted before a Justice of the Peace, both accused were granted release from custody on cash bail and will be appearing in the Killam Provincial Court.

As this matter is now before the courts no further information will be available.
