Daysland woman wins big at Camrose Resort Casino’s Wednesday draw
Shelly Fankhanel of Daysland is the winner of Camrose Resort Casino’s 1 to 100 Wednesdays draw.
For the past 53 weeks, the person whose ticket was drawn pulled a token from the draw barrel – and there were 100 tokens to start one white and 99 coloured tokens. If the guest did not pull the white token, one token was removed and $50 was added to the cash prize to be won. Casino patrons could also redeem 250 loyalty points for a draw ticket.
With 47 tokens remaining in the draw barrel, Shelly pulled out the white token and was awarded the progressive pot which grew to $3,150!
