Jordy Williams, Grade 10, visited the BRSD Head Office to attend a Board Meeting on April 28.

April was Autism Awareness month, and the Board Members invited Jordy to share with them all of the great things he does in our school and community.

Jordy prepared for the visit by typing up a report called “I Can.”

He wrote about many things he does throughout the day in our school.

The board also asked Jordy questions after the presentation and commended him on all the great things he does to help others in our school.

Jordy was accompanied on this trip by one of his Educational Assistants, Sheilla Kobsar, and one of his teachers, Elizabeth Weber.

The visit was a great opportunity to not only celebrate Jordy’s accomplishments, but also to recognize the hard work that EAs put into helping kids like Jordy find success every day!
