Sorenson signs first to go up for Battle River-Crowfoot

Kevin Sorenson, CPC Candidate for the new Battle River Crowfoot riding, has started on the long campaign trail, with a quick tour distributing signs.

Sorenson says, “From 2000 to 2004, when the district changed, I did represent some of this district, but the Beaver County area is new for me.”

He said he had a very good reception when he stopped in Tofield last week, and has met with some county officials there.

“We’ve been to Wainwright, Provost, through some of Flagstaff County, Forestburg, Bashaw, and Camrose, meeting with businesses, and doing a walk of Main Streets.”

He says this round of travelling has been mostly to get signs distributed. He says he also hopes the signs will last, this being such a long campaign.

“We’re getting a good response.

“I have had many people offering to volunteer on my team,” which he said is encouraging.

“The economy is uppermost in people’s minds,” says Sorenson, “We just need to make sure we have the right plan and the right leaders.”
