Killam Wheat Kings end season with banquet and awards

The Killam Wheat Kings Junior B hockey club held their awards and season wrap-up banquet on Saturday, April 25 in the Killam Hall, with players, coaches, families, sponsors, and the board members all in attendance. The snow outside was hockey appropriate!

The team honoured four retiring players due to over age ineligibility at the end of the season.

The four players who will be hanging up their jerseys are Kyle Wandler, Justin Ness, Shelby Badry, and Jordan Sand.

The Wheat Kings captains presented special coats to coach Jamie Langley and trainer Dylan Eskra as a token of appreciation for the many hours they give to the team and all they do for the team.

Coach Jamie Langley and Manager Murray Guame handed out the team awards.
