Rams host Blue Devils in last home game of regular season

The Rams played their last home game of the regular season in Sedgewick on Thursday, Oct. 4, meeting the East Glen Blue Devils team from Edmonton.

Two giant tents were set up at the field for hot food, and a silent auction, with many items donated from players, fans, and local businesses.

The team was auctioning off a handsome black helmet individually signed by every member of the team.

The matchup started even between the two teams on Thursday, but an interception allowed the Blue Devils to pull away in the first half.

The Rams started to come back during the second half, as the Blue Devils drew quite a few penalties during the match.

Maybe the most pathetic penalty was the 9.75-yard kick that the Blue Devils attempted to intercept themselves, garnering them a further five yards back in their own end for the next attempt.

With the final score at 78-32 for the Blue Devils, the Devils record four straight wins, and the Rams are 1-3.

One definite difference between the two teams was the Rams unwillingness to give up, those guys play every second of the clock.
