“This Time Is Ours,” a theme that resonates for Central High’s 2012 Graduating Class

Central High Sedgewick Public School held its 2012 graduation ceremonies Saturday, Sept. 15 in the Sedgewick Rec Center with 50 graduates in attendance and two unable to attend.

The graduates were all dressed in their best, with dress and suit accessories in every colour imaginable.

Master of Ceremonies was Grade 12 student Brad Link, who along with Mrs. Heather Chevraux, kept the program on track.

Principal Tony Rice gave congratulations and commented that this class was a diverse group with fantastic potential.

Rice told the graduates not to sell themselves short, and he encouraged them to, “Find your passion and follow it and your life will unfold as it should; just keep moving forward.”

The evening’s guest speaker was past CHSPS graduate, Dr. Brandon Ball, from the Class of 2002.

Ball gave a light-hearted review of his years since graduation.
