UFOs welcome at Daysland Library: Group starts ‘Stitch & Chat’ group

Daysland Library has become the meeting place of a new group, started in the fall of 2011, called ‘Stich & Chat.’

Librarian Tara Mazur says, “Two local library patrons, Petra and Elaine, initiated these sessions back in September as a way of getting together with others who might have UFOs (unfinished projects) or WIPS (works in progress) lingering in the backs of their closets.”

Mazur says that as many as 10 ladies have been meeting at the library Tuesday afternoons from 1 to 3 p.m. to work on various handicrafts.
