Woody Holler and his ensemble hit the Palace Theatre in Daysland

Leslie Cholowsky – Editor

Cowboy nostalgia was strong on Palace Theatre’s stage on Thursday, Mar. 1 as Woody Holler and his orchestra of Richard Moody on violin, Greg Lowe on guitar and Daniel Koulack on double bass, with Woody himself on guitar and primary vocals, took centre stage with a yodelled howdy.

Self-described as performers of jazz from the saddle, with four of Manitoba’s finest musicians, Holler’s music drops you in the saddle on the prairies in the days of Gene Autry, and cowboy musicals.
