A Robbie Burns evening was held at the Sedgewick Legion Hall on Saturday, Jan. 28.

Master of Ceremonies, Ian Malcolm, welcomed everyone in attendance, and at 6:50 p.m., the call to dinner was made.

With Doug Brown, Devan Burden, and Mark Burden on the bagpipes, and Jim MacLeod on the drums, next came the piping of the haggis.

The haggis was paraded throughout the hall, then Perry Robinson addressed the haggis.

With all the flair of an old Scot, Robinson attacked the haggis with his trusty knife saying, “Weel are ye wordy o’ a grace as long’s my arm.”
