Stampeders beat first-place Blades 16-8

    The Hardisty Stampeders doubled up on the Provost Blades Saturday, Jan. 21 in a 16-8 win.

    This game was high scoring with tempers and emotions running hot.

    Hardisty scored eight times in the first period, shutting out the visitors.

    The second period had it all. Each team scored four goals and 77 penalty minutes were handed out. The officials were kept on their toes while the fans were on their feet giving advice to the officials mostly about regular eye check ups!
