Flagstaff County’s Recreation Liaison coordinator Jim Fedyk says that the application development for recreation funding is complete. Now he is hoping that user groups and non-profit organizations will review the available grant funding, and attend the open houses planned across the county starting next week.

There are five new grants under the Regional Recreation Grant program that fall under the new heading “Investment Grants”.

These grants, called, “The Family Investment Grant, Youth Investment Grant, Seniors Investment Grant, Pioneer Project Investment Grant, and June is Recreation and Parks Month Investment Grant,” have a total of $37,500 in funding to distribute among applicants, varying between caps of $500 and $750, to be distributed on a ‘first come-first served’ basis.
